New York's Population

Hi guys,

today we continued working on the document "New York's Population".

Here is what we said about it:

New York City is a fantastic melting pot = a mix of nationalities / communities. For example, there are Chinese (from China). They arrived in the USA to work in mines and on railway lines. The majority of the Chinese community lives in Chinatown but also in Queens.

NYC has the largest Irish and Jewish communities (from Ireland and from Israel).

There are many districts / neighbourhoods in NYC. Many Italians live in Little Italy. Eastern Europeans tend to live in Brooklyn, ... They often correspond to a community.
