New Sequence: Oliver Twist

Hi guys,

today we started a new lesson about Oliver Twist. We studied the DVD cover of the movie adaptation.

Here is what you said about it:

The scene takes place in London in the 19th century.
This little boy in an orphan. He was abandoned by his parents. He is now a pickpocket and he works in a workhouse.
In this picture, a shop owner is running after Oliver in the street because maybe he robbed money in the shop.
He will escape and he will begin his adventures for a better life.
There is a parallel between Oliver's life and Charles Dickens.
