The similarities and differences between the movie and the book
The similarities:
In the book and in the movie, the Once-Ler lives outside of town.
In the book and in the movie, Ted has the correct price.
In the book and in the movie, there is a pail with a rope.
The atmosphere is dark, gloomy and scary because it’s midnight.
In both versions, the Once-Ler peeks out from the shutters.
The differences:
In the book, you must put the proper price in the pail whereas in the movie, Ted doesn’t and the Once-Ler doesn’t care.
In the book, you mustn’t knock at the door while Ted rings the doorbell and there is a trap.
