Monday, January 15th_Sequence 3: THE ROYAL FAMILY

Hello,

Today, we started a new sequence about the Royal Family.

The commemoration of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II

In the picture, in the middle, there is Elizabeth II (the second). She is the Queen of the United Kingdom. She is 91 years old.

In the background, on the right, there is Prince Philip. He is her husband. He is older than the Queen.

On the left, there is Prince Charles. He is her son. He was married to Lady Diana.

Next to the Queen, there is a hairstylist, she is brushing the Queen's hair.

The Queen is very chic. She's wearing more expensive clothes than Prince Philip. She has a white dress and gloves, an expensive bracelet and a crown. She has a blue scarf with three medals of honour. 

Prince Philip has more medals on his military uniform than the Queen.

It's a special event: it's the celebration of 50 years of her reign (1952-2002).

Actually, they are fake, they are wax statues from Madame Tussaud's museum in London!
