Hello!

Today, you told me why it was difficult to solve Jack the Ripper's case.

Now, they have a lot of technologies whereas before they didn't.

In 1835, Goddard made* the first bullet comparison but Jack the Ripper didn't use a gun.

In 1880, Faulds identified a culprit with his fingerprints for the first time but Whitechapel was* a very dirty district and maybe the police didn't have this new technique.

The murders were committed in 1888, and the DNA techniques were invented later.
