Hi guys,
today we started a new lesson about Marilyn Monroe.
We watched some extracts from one of her most popular movies: "Some Like it Hot".
Here is what we said about it:
It's the story of two men who want to escape the mafia. They put on a disguise to take part in a girls-only band.
They meet "Sugar" (Marilyn Monroe), a sexy dumb blonde who likes drinking and who doesn't have friends.
Like in her real life, Marilyn is a singer but she doesn't have numerous fans.
The film is a comedy: e.g. Sugar looks like "Jell-O on springs" when she walks.
