Learning your Speech + Rehearsal (Drama)

Hi guys,

today you had to correct and finish your speech. Then you had to prepare it for next time, adding gestures to your speech.

Here are the criteria so that you can prepare the best you can:

Your speech is convincing because:

• Your ideas are logical and well-developed. Your character has a “background story” and you've talked about all the important subjects of the campaign (defense, health care, education, jobs, taxes, and the American dream) / 12

• The rhythm of your speech is engaging (binary and ternary rhythm) / 6

• Your attitude is serious, you look enthusiastic, you speak loud and you try to persuade your audience with your body; you don't read your notes. / 6

• Your vocabulary is rich and used correctly. / 6

• It's easy to understand you because your sentences are grammatically and phonetically correct. / 10

• Bonus: you've dressed up for the occasion and your speech is creative (you can use props, make-up, assistants, …) / +5
