Hello everyone,

Here is last week's lesson:

-His mother says she wished she never had him (=she regrets having him. )

-Possible reasons :

• maybe he’s mentally ill/ insane/crazy/a psycopath.

• He probably doesn’t have a job and never does the chores, so he’s a burden.

• He may be gay and she’s homophobic.

• He was unwanted/ she became pregnant when she was very young…

• She must have been raped and became pregnant.

• He may be a drug addict/a junkie/ a drug dealer

• He must have done something terrible : a murder ?

• She rejects him because he’s ugly and fat.

This is today's lesson:

The man’s personality

The man is always angry/ full of anger and hate. He must be bipolar.
He is a loner : he is always alone. He doesn't have friends.

He must hate all human beings.
He's crazy: he sends nude pictures on his profile / on his account.
He's a psychopath and maybe a stalker because he sends letter bombs to people.
He is fifty years old but he doesn’t have his own appartment : he is not independant. He is childish and immature (he behaves like a child).

Vocabulary :

-a loner=un solitaire                       -a human being=un être humain

-anger= la colère                            -nude/naked= nu(e)

-hate= la haine                               -a stalker= un harceleur

- to behave= se comporter              - a whiner= un pleurnichard
