The document is an extract from the movie Oliver Twist. It’s the opening scene. It shows when Oliver Twist is arriving at the orphanage.
It looks like a prison, a haunted house or a cemetery… The atmosphere is dark, grim and loaded.
Oliver Twist is terrified and speechless because the men are looking at him and they’re mean!
Children are starving. On the contrary, adults are having a feast.
The orphanage is a nightmare (=bad dream) for Oliver!
