Fire Drill + The Story of the Once-Ler and his invention

Hi guys,

today we continued to talk about the Once-Ler but we were interrupted by a fire drill... anyway... here is what we said about the extract we watched:

The story of the Once-Ler:

It started a long long time ago when the Once-Ler was a young man, leaving home.
He created an amazing product / invention: the "thneed" = the thing that everyone needs.

Today, the Once-Ler has a hairy moustache and he is green whereas the Lorax is orange.

Grammar = au passé, quelque soit la forme en français, en anglais on met /ed/ au verbe régulier à toutes les personnes et, si le verbe est irrégulier, il faut connaître sa forme. Seul BE a deux formes au passé = WAS / WERE
