A bad plan for his new job
This document is an extract from a TV series. Chris is in school with his best friend. Greg has bought a new leather jacket and it made him cool. He has new friends so Chris is jealous and feels betrayed.
Chris goes to find a job. He goes to the shoe repairer's, the barber's, the grocer's but they don't accept him. So he asks his dad for a job and he says yes but he needs to be outside at 3:30 am. He must be early, he mustn't be late because “the job doesn't wait for you!”
His father is a delivery man. He delivers newspaper in the neighbourhood of NYC.
Chris doesn't wake up. He is disappointed because he missed the job.
