Every thing has a starting point... what if it all had been different?

Hi guys,

today we worked on the starting elements that made the character know the answers to all the questions in the movie "Slumdog Millionaire".

Even if he lived in a slum and he was not educated (he didn't go to school, ...), he won the game! How come? Because he lived a life full of events that branded him forever!

Here is what we said:

Surdas:
If the men hadn't given the children coke, they wouldn't have earned their trust.
If they hadn't gone to school with them, they wouldn't have learned the song.
If they hadn't learned this traditional song, he wouldn't have known the answer.

Dollar bill:
If he hadn't been in this tunnel, he wouldn't have seen his old friend.
If he hadn't given him $100, he wouldn't have known the answer.

Homework:

- pour mercredi: écrire 15 questions / réponses du type "who wants to be a millionaire" en suivant la fiche d'évaluation (à coller sur la feuille que vous rendrez).

- pour jeudi: bien relire le texte sur les dabbawalas distribué il y a un moment et être capable de faire une question en anglais. Vous aurez un devoir sur ce texte Vendredi.
