Today, we started Lesson 2:
Absent or late…. Not feeling very well
The boy in A is absent because he is at the dentist’s.
The girl in B is absent because she has a headache.
The boy in picture C is absent because he’s sick.
The girl in E is absent because she is ill: she is in bed, she has temperature and maybe she has the flu.
The boy in picture D is late because he missed the school bus.
Our head teacher’s name is Ms Durand Assouly and our school nurse’s name is Ms Lépine.
When I’m late, I give a late slip to the teacher.
When I’m absent for one day or one week, I give an absence note to the teacher.
