Summer Holidays
Chloe went* to Paris with her friend Lucy by train.
They visited the Louvres but they didn’t visit the
Eiffel Tower.
They ate* sandwiches for lunch in a park.
They ate* in small restaurants for dinner because
it was* very expensive and they didn’t have a lot
of money.
They made* good friends and they went* to pubs
and discos.
They took* a lot of photos but they didn’t buy
souvenirs.
Instead, they wrote* postcards for their families
and they sent* them.
Chloe liked her holiday. She says: it was* a
fantastic holiday.
