The melody and the lyrics
The melody is not dark or depressing but it is both joyful and positive.
The lyrics are both sad and terrible.
There is a contrast!
The mother says: “I wish I never had you”.
Suppositions: Maybe…
… The mother didn’t want her baby.
… Her son became* crazy and he killed his brother.
… He hurt* his mother.
… He had* a fight and tortured his father.
