Aaron's situation

Hi guys,

first you had to do the recap from last time's lesson. Only 2 of you had something to give me to grade... too bad for you... but good for them!

We then moved on with the lesson. Here is what we said:

Question: If you were in his situation, what would you do?

Possible ideas:

If I were in his situation,  I would try to move the boulder.
                                           I would drink my urine.
                                           I wouldn't cut my arm. It's too dangerous.
                                           I would kill myself. I'm not courageous.

-> Attention le /L/ de /WOULD/ s'écrit bien mais il ne se prononce pas.
-> If ... (prétérit) ,    WOULD + BV = permet d'imaginer une situation irréelle.

Vocab:

- it's scorching hot / it's freezing cold.
- a rock / a boulder
- useless / pointless
- there is no network

- apprendre par coeur la leçon sur les possibilités (situation hypothétique) et actualiser son carnet de vocabulaire.
