How does Jamal know Benjamin Franklin is on the 100 dollar note?
Jamal remembers the answer because he met his blind friend from the camp and he felt so guilty/shameful/awkward that he gave him 100 dollars. However, the boy didn’t believe him/had doubts and asked Jamal to describe the note. He realised the portrait was Benjamin Franklin and never forgot about it.
