-The ganges is one of the most famous Indian river. It is

considered as sacred/holy and many people bathe in it.

-India is surrounded by China, Pakistan, Bhutan, Burma, Nepal,

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

- In India there are 1.3 billion people.

The 3 largest cities are:

• Mumbai: 18.5 million people

• Delhi 16.3 million people

• Kolkata/ Calcutta : 14.2 million people
