  • Hello, here is the lesson for today :

    Friday, October 3rd

    (the third)

    Second tradition : Guising.

Children dressed up in costumes and went knocking on doors to sing, tell poetry or tell jokes in exchange for money, food or wine.

Irish and Scottish immigrants revived the tradition in the USA.

Today, Halloween is a family-friendly and kid-centered tradition.

Today, Halloween represents $6 billion (costumes and candies) in the USA.

Then, we started preparing your final task : we listened to three phone conversations and discovered structures : I would like / Would you like ... ?

Homework : revise the lessons about : souling, guising, Halloween today
